    Dear @Debasis Sahoo

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on the information provided, installing Microsoft Project Professional 2024 on a device that already has Office 2019 Standard installed is not supported.

Microsoft does not support installing Office products that use different installation technologies (Click-to-Run and Windows Installer/MSI) on the same computer. Additionally, mixing different release generations (such as Office 2019 and Project 2024) on the same device may cause installation conflicts.

You may refer to the official Microsoft documentation below: Office installed with Click-to-Run and Windows Installer on same computer isn't supported

To proceed, the customer may consider one of the following options:

    1. Uninstall Office 2019 and install compatible Click-to-Run versions of Office along with Project Professional 2024.
    2. Retain Office 2019 and instead use Project 2019 to ensure version and installation technology alignment.

Please review these options with the customer and proceed accordingly.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

To install Microsoft Project Professional 2024 alongside Office 2019 Standard on the same system, you need to ensure that both products are compatible. According to the guidelines, you can install different versions of Office, Project, and Visio on the same computer, but there are specific conditions that must be met:

    1. Same Installation Technology: Both Office 2019 and Project Professional 2024 must use the same installation technology. Office 2019 uses Click-to-Run, and Project Professional 2024 also uses Click-to-Run, which is a good sign for compatibility.
    2. Version Compatibility: Both products share the same version number (16.0), which is another requirement for them to be installed together.
    3. Uninstalling Conflicting Versions: If there are any conflicting versions or installation technologies (like an MSI version of Office), you may need to uninstall those before proceeding with the installation of Project 2024 and Office 2019.

Given that the customer wants to have both installed, you should first ensure that the existing Office 2019 installation is compatible and then proceed with the installation of Project Professional 2024. If any issues arise during installation, refer to the troubleshooting guidelines for installation failures.

If you need further assistance, please consult the relevant deployment guides or reach out to Microsoft support for detailed help.
