I have received a new credit card that replaced the card used as my payment method. Forgetting to update it and now I am faced with overdue payment. However, I am unable to make payment using the pay now key. It just did not react to my selection.

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. To add to the above, if your card is up to date and you have also verified that it is working for other purchase that you made online, please check and try this by using inPrivate or Incognito browsing and another alternative is to link your card to PayPal and use it as payment method. If you will still encounter an issue even after trying out the alternatives, you can reach out to the support team at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/ and then click on Microsoft 365 and then click Get Home Support and then type in Billing question and click the blue button that says Sign in to contact Support and login and proceed from there. Kindly take note that the forum does not have access to user accounts to be able to check and intervene with account related and billing side of things.

If you are unable to make a payment due to an expired credit card, you will need to update your payment method with the new credit card details. Since you mentioned that the pay now button is not responding, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Sign Out and Sign Back In: Sometimes, signing out of your account and signing back in can resolve issues with the interface.
    2. Clear Browser Cache: Clear your browser's cache and cookies, as this can sometimes fix loading issues.
    3. Try a Different Browser: If the issue persists, try accessing your account using a different web browser or an InPrivate session to see if that resolves the issue.
    4. Check for Outstanding Balance: Ensure that there are no outstanding balances that need to be cleared before you can update your payment method.
    5. Contact Support: If none of the above steps work, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for assistance with your payment issue.

Once you are able to access the payment method settings, follow the steps to update your credit card information accordingly.
