Hi @EL MOKHTAR N'GADI,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
Thank you for reaching out. Based on your description, I have outlined the steps below to help resolve the issue where the YouTube player does not scale correctly in Fullscreen mode on your laptop.
1/ Clear YouTube cache and cookies
As @tinyLUPPA shared, this resets the site data and can fix player rendering glitches:
- Click the Padlock icon located to the left of the URL in the address bar.
- Select Cookies and site data and then Manage on-device site data.
- Click the Delete icon for all YouTube entries.
- Refresh the page and sign back in.
2/ Reset browser and system scaling
Incorrect zoom levels often cause the "windowed" Fullscreen look:
- Browser Zoom: Press Ctrl + 0 while on the YouTube tab to reset the zoom to 100%.
- Windows Scaling: Open Settings > System > Display and verify that Scale and layout is set to the Recommended percentage.
3/ Test in incognito mode
This helps identify if a browser extension is interfering with the layout:
- Press
Ctrl + Shift + Nto open a new Incognito window. - Open the video there. If it works correctly, one of your extensions is likely the cause and should be disabled or updated.
4/ Toggle hardware acceleration
Issues with how the browser uses your graphics card can cause display errors:
- Go to your browser Settings and search for Hardware Acceleration.
- Toggle the setting to the opposite of its current state (Off to On, or vice versa) and restart the browser.
I hope these steps help restore the Fullscreen experience. Please let me know if the issue persists or if you need additional assistance.
