Will Microsoft be producing a 'publishing' software once Publisher has ceased being supported?
It is most unsatisfactory to suggest that using Word or Powerpoint would be reasonable alternatives to Publisher. Publisher is one of the best 'publishing' softwares I have found for my use in creating a magazine. I have trialled QuarkXPress, Affinity 2, Scribus none of which is as easy to use especially since they do not dovetail with other parts of Office. However, I have now moved away from Publisher and am now having to use one of the previously mentioned packages. Sorry Microsoft but this all feels wrong. I presume that the cost of Office will now decrease in light of losing one of its integral parts?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I truly understand how you feel. I understand that Publisher has been a familiar and reliable tool for many users; especially for those who create magazines, newsletters, and other layout‑heavy documents.
As a community moderator, I don’t have access to Microsoft’s back‑end development plans or roadmap. However, feedback like yours is genuinely important, and I hope that when enough users share similar experiences, the product team can take it into consideration for future decisions.

When I try to submit feedback, it wants me to choose a forum. Which one am I supposed to use to voice my feedback about losing Publisher?

Since the Publisher category does not appear in the Feedback Portal, you can select “Feedback (Web Portal)” instead.
