Hi, I'm Rodrigo and I will help you.
Unfortunately, your processor does not meet the requirements for the Windows 11 upgrade, so you will not be able to install it.
The Windows 10 support ended in October 2025, but you can still enroll for Extended Security Updates, make sure your Windows 10 is up-to-date on Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and follow the instructions in the link below:

Thank you. I have done this and got a message regarding my CPU : Intel Core i3 7100 @3.9 GHz . It seems the processor should be of a "stronger" family...What to do , then ?

    Thank you,

To upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11, follow these steps:

    1. Check System Requirements: Ensure your PC meets the minimum requirements for Windows 11:
      • Processor: 1 GHz or faster, 2 or more cores, and on the list of supported 64-bit CPUs.
      • Memory: 4 GB RAM or more.
      • Storage: 64 GB or larger storage device.
      • System Firmware: UEFI firmware with Secure Boot capability.
      • TPM: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0 enabled.
      • Graphics: A graphics card compatible with DirectX 12 or later.
      • Display: A display larger than 9" with at least 720p resolution.
      • Internet: Required for updates and Microsoft account for setup.
    2. Verify Compatibility: Use the PC Health Check tool to confirm if your PC can run Windows 11:
      • Download and install the tool from Microsoft's site.
      • Run the compatibility check and address any issues listed.
    3. Back Up Important Data: Before upgrading, back up your important files to an external drive or cloud service.
    4. Upgrade Methods:
      • Option 1: Windows Update (Recommended)
        • Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
        • Click Check for updates. If eligible, you will see an option to upgrade to Windows 11.
        • Select Download and install and restart when prompted.
      • Option 2: Windows 11 Installation Assistant
        • Download the Windows 11 Installation Assistant from Microsoft’s website.
        • Run the tool as administrator and follow the prompts to upgrade.
      • Option 3: ISO File / USB Installation (Advanced)
        • Download the Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft.
        • Create installation media using the Windows Media Creation Tool.
        • Run Setup.exe from the mounted ISO and follow the setup wizard.
    5. Post-Upgrade Setup: After upgrading, check for updates, verify your Microsoft account, and customize your settings.

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully upgrade to Windows 11. If you encounter any issues, refer to the troubleshooting section for common problems related to the upgrade process.
