This is the correct way to contact Billing / Tax Support:
- Open: https://admin.microsoft.com/
- Sign in with the account that pays for Microsoft 365
- Go to Support > Help & support
- Click New service request
- Choose:
- Category: Billing
- Issue type: Taxes / Withholding tax / Invoice-related
- Submit the request
This is the channel Microsoft uses to issue Tax Residence Certificates and other legal billing documents.
Use this if you don’t see the Admin Center:
Microsoft Support Website (No Admin Needed)
- Go to: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus
- Choose Microsoft 365
- Select Billing & subscriptions
- Pick Contact support
- Choose Chat (if available) or request a call
Phone/chat agents may need escalation to Billing & Tax Support
Please note that the chat support team only works during certain working hours. Therefore, if the last window indicates that you are unavailable, try opening it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. That way, they can call you and help you.
