My computer is asking me for recovery key. We bought this computer a few years ago- we don’t have this information

    Check if BitLocker was on and sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey with the Microsoft account used on this PC. Any saved keys will appear there. If no key is found, Microsoft cannot recover the drive and you would need to reset the PC, which erases all data.
