Hello,
I have purchased Windows 10 Pro in 2019, and I have the invoice / receipt in my Microsoft account store / profile under Order History.
However, it does not have the product key for me to activate Win 10 Pro (freshly installed a couple of days ago (Feb, 10th 2026)).
I also do not have (i may have lost) the email that contained the product Key.
How can I get a copy of the product key for win 10 pro related to the invoice/purchase I made in the Microsoft Store?

Thank you for your help.

    Hello,

If you purchased from Microsoft, you are using digital license.

When you purchased the license, did you purchase the whole Pro license, or was it an upgrade license to allow you to upgrade from Home to Pro?

Is this the reinstall on the same hardare/motherboard? If so, have you already tried this - go to Settings > System > Activation, run the troubleshooter, choose the hardware change option. When it asks you where it is installed on right now, you should choose the old device name. Then click on Activate button. And on the next screen when it asks you where to transfer it to, choose your new device name. See if that does the trick.

To retrieve your Windows 10 Pro product key associated with your purchase from the Microsoft Store, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check Your Microsoft Account: Since you mentioned that you have the invoice in your Microsoft account under Order History, log in to your Microsoft account and check if the product key is listed there. Sometimes, the product key may be available in the order details.
    2. Contact Microsoft Support: If the product key is not visible in your account, you can contact Microsoft Support for assistance. They can help you retrieve the product key based on your purchase information. Make sure to have your invoice details ready when you contact them.
    3. Check for Confirmation Emails: Even if you think you may have lost the email, check your email accounts for any confirmation emails from Microsoft regarding your purchase. The product key is often included in those emails.
    4. Use a Third-Party Key Finder: If you have access to your previous installation of Windows 10 Pro, you can use third-party key finder utilities to extract the product key from the system registry.

Following these steps should help you recover your product key for Windows 10 Pro.
