Hi,

I am learning Power automate and using trial account. While doing the required action , I am getting error "Failed to create OAuth connection: ClientError: Test connection failed. Details: Failed to get license information for the user. Ensure user has a valid Office365 license assigned to them.".

Could you please suggest what needs to be done so that I can continue learning through hands on experience.

    Hi VIVEK KUMAR
Thank you for posting question to Microsoft Q&A Forum.
Did you also have any Office 365 license assigned to the targeted user?
What was the trial license you applied for?
    Please check on this: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/manage/assign-licenses-to-users?view=o365-worldwide
It could be great if you could provide a screenshot of your licenses by going to Billing > Your products like this:

It appears that the error you are encountering is related to licensing issues with your trial account in Power Automate. To resolve this issue and continue learning, you should ensure that your trial account has the necessary licenses assigned. Here are some steps you can take:

    1. Check License Assignment: Ensure that your trial account has a valid Office 365 license assigned. Trial accounts may have limitations, and certain features or connections may require a specific license.
    2. Use a Work or School Account: Make sure that you are using a work or school account, as personal accounts may not have the same access to features in Power Automate.
    3. Re-authorize Connections: If you have the correct license, try re-authorizing your connections. Sometimes, connections can become invalid, and re-authorizing them may resolve the issue.
    4. Contact Support: If you continue to experience issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for assistance with your trial account and licensing issues.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot the error and continue your hands-on learning experience with Power Automate.
