Minecraft sign-in problem

Hello! A week ago I was playing Minecraft normally and everything was fine, but the next day I was logged out of my Minecraft account. I tried to log back in, but it didn’t work. I did not forget my password (I keep it written in a notepad so I always have it available). I tried every possible method (for example, I attempted to reset my password, but that also didn’t work).

Then I came to the conclusion that my Minecraft account might be connected to another one of my email addresses ([******@gmail.com]). When I tried to log into Microsoft using that account, it did not allow me to sign in and showed the message “We couldn’t find an account with that email.” This seemed strange because I clearly remember that this is the email I used when I purchased Minecraft.

Could you please help me?

I'll put down some proof with my receipt of the game purchase.

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

Based on your description, your Microsoft account was compromised. The hacker was able to remove the account's primary email address/security info and replace it with their own email address, which is why the system can't detect your account when signing in.

The only way to recover a hacked account is through the official Microsoft troubleshooter guide:

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/how-to-recover-a-hacked-or-compromised-microsoft-account-24ca907d-bcdf-a44b-4656-47f0cd89c245

If the account recovery web form doesn't work, and since the security info has been replaced by the hacker, I'm afraid there is no other working method to recover the Microsoft account, and Microsoft Support cannot help either.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Darhyl

It sounds like you're experiencing a common issue with account access, especially if your Minecraft account is linked to a Microsoft account that you cannot access. Here are some steps you can take to try to regain access:

    1. Check for Multiple Accounts: Ensure that you are not confusing multiple Microsoft accounts. Sometimes, users have both personal and work/school accounts that can lead to login issues.
    2. Account Recovery: Since you mentioned that you have proof of purchase, you can use that information to help recover your account. If the standard recovery form does not work, you may need to reach out to Microsoft Support directly for assistance.
    3. Contact Minecraft Support: Given that your account is linked to Minecraft, you can also contact Minecraft Support for help. They may have additional resources or methods for verifying your ownership of the game.
    4. Use the Correct Email: Double-check that you are using the exact email address that was used to create the account. Sometimes, small typos can lead to issues when trying to log in.

If you continue to have trouble, it may be beneficial to gather all relevant information (like purchase receipts) and contact Microsoft Support for further assistance.
