Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
My one-year-old laptop came from a reputable supplier, with Windows 11 pre-installed and an embedded OEM_DM product key. Hardware has not been changed. Since I installed 25H2-repair-version, I need to reactivate Windows every three days.
When Windows is active, the activation status is: “Windows is activated with a digital license” and slmgr.vbs -xpr confirms that the machine is permanently activated and licensingdiag.exe returns status SL_GEN_STATE_IS_GENUINE_LICENSE.
When Windows is inactive, slmgr.vbs -xpr still indicates that the machine is permanently activated, whereas licensingdiag.exe returns status SL_GEN_STATE_INVALID_LICENSE and error code 0xc004f200.
Many different troubleshooting attempts have been made so far, but Windows only remains active less than three days on average. Linking my laptop to a Microsoft account or paying a second time for Windows 11 is not part of my plans.
New ideas would be appreciated, please. Thank you.
