Correct ways to contact Microsoft Data Protection:
1. If your issue is privacy / GDPR / personal data requests
This is the only case where Microsoft provides a direct contact. EU Data Protection Officer (official)

- Purpose: GDPR, privacy rights, personal data inquiries
- This does NOT unlock accounts or tenants

2. If your issue is Microsoft 365 / Office / Azure admin access
This is the only supported path according to Microsoft:
Step 1 – Contact Microsoft Support
Use Microsoft Support, not the Data Protection Team directly:

Step 2 – Ask for escalation to Data Protection Team
When speaking to support, clearly state: “My tenant / Global Admin account is locked. This requires escalation to the Microsoft Data Protection Team.”
