easily delete files on onedrive

Question

How does one delete files in one-drive. It seems to me that when I am seeing my files in excell, I should be able to delete them. open is the only option I am given when I right click. So where in the hell do you go to delete files? I am beginning to wish I had given up on office. I have followed other suggestions to open the cloud on my task bar, but that also does not allow deletion of files. If only I could just drag them to trash can!

To delete the files stored in the cloud, you must access https://onedrive.live.com/ from the browser, enter your account and delete the files, or access OneDrive from the File Explorer, if your account is set up.

If after deleting the files, they still show on the list, right click it and select "Remove from this list"

I might be wrong here, but you’re trying to delete from inside Excel that isn’t the file, just a view

the onl. y place you can truly delete is the real OneDrive folder (Explorer or onedrive.com); that’s where the file actually lives.
