I keep receiving an Internet Security Warning, which in turn, is messing up my email. The warning states: my security certificate can not be verified. I don't know why this started (some time last month), and why it won't stop.

I don't know how to verify the certificate.

    Hello,

    Who's your email service provider?

Does this happen when you use the web, or when you use certain Email app? If so, which app?

Can you also check your computer's date and time, is it correct?

If possible, can you share a screenshot of the error?

To resolve the Internet Security Warning regarding your security certificate, you can follow these steps to verify the certificate:

    1. Connect to the Secure Server: Open Microsoft Internet Explorer and navigate to the server that is giving you the warning (e.g., type https://www.server_name.com in the address bar and press Enter).
    2. Examine the Certificate: Once on the page, double-click the padlock icon located in the lower-right corner of the browser window.
    3. View Certificate Details: Click on the Details tab in the certificate window. Here, you can check important information such as the validity period and the subject of the certificate.
      • Valid to: This field indicates until when the certificate is valid.
      • Subject: This should match the site name you are trying to access.

If the certificate is not valid or does not match, you may need to contact your system administrator for further assistance. Additionally, ensure that you have installed the necessary trusted root certificates if prompted.
