    Hello

What plan did you upgrade to, is it a personal type of plan, or a business plan?

Do you send email from the app, or from Outlook Classic app, or New Outlook app?

Do you run OneDrive Desktop app on the computer?

Can you please describe the steps you take to attach the file? Did you click on the attachment button, then browse this PC option, then go to the OneDrive folder, locate the file and click on it to attach?

It sounds like you're encountering a permissions issue with OneDrive after upgrading your storage. When files sent via OneDrive require recipients to log in, it typically means that the sharing settings are configured to restrict access to specific users or accounts. To resolve this, you can adjust the sharing settings for the files or folders in OneDrive to allow anyone with the link to access them without needing to log in.

Here are the steps to change the sharing settings:

    1. Go to the OneDrive website and sign in with your account.
    2. Locate the file or folder you want to share.
    3. Right-click on the file or folder and select Share.
4. In the sharing options, look for a setting that allows you to change the link settings to "Anyone with the link" can view or edit, depending on your preference.
    5. Copy the new link and send it to your users.

If you want to stop using OneDrive altogether, you can unlink it from your computer:

    1. Right-click the OneDrive cloud icon in the taskbar.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Under the Account tab, click Unlink this PC.
    4. Follow the prompts to complete the unlinking process.

This will stop OneDrive from syncing and sending files, allowing you to use other methods for file sharing.
