    Open File Explorer

In the left panel, click OneDrive

Navigate down through the folders until you find your file

    Right‑click the file > Cut

Go back to the main OneDrive folder (the top level)

    Right‑click > Paste

To resolve the issue of having too many files deep in OneDrive and to move your files more effectively, you can follow these steps:

    1. Access OneDrive: Open your OneDrive folder on your computer or through the OneDrive app on your device.
    2. Locate the File: Navigate through the folders to find the file you want to move.
    3. Move the File: You can drag and drop the file to the desired location in OneDrive. If you want to move it to the top level, simply drag it out of the current folder and drop it into the main OneDrive folder.
    4. Create New Folders: If necessary, you can create new folders at the top level to organize your files better. Right-click in the OneDrive folder and select "New" > "Folder" to create a new folder.
    5. Sync Issues: If you encounter any sync issues or if OneDrive is not available, ensure that your OneDrive is updated to the latest version and check your internet connection.

If you continue to experience issues, consider checking the OneDrive support documentation for troubleshooting steps or reach out to Microsoft support for further assistance.
