Hi Amani Dailey,
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Thanks for explaining what you’re seeing. From your description, this usually means the Windows gaming apps aren’t syncing correctly, rather than an issue with your device or account.
In addition to Q&A Assist's answer, here's a list of the possible checking steps that you can consider:
1 - Restart key gaming services
Press Windows + R, type services.msc and press Enter, then restart these services:
- Xbox Live Auth Manager
- Xbox Live Game Save
- Xbox Live Networking Service
- Microsoft Store Install Service
2 - Refresh the Microsoft Store
- Press Windows + R, type
wsresetand press Enter
3 - Repair Xbox and Minecraft apps
- Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features
- Select Xbox App > Advanced options > Repair
- Do the same for Minecraft Launcher
- Restart your PC
4 - Reinstall Gaming Services (recommended if Xbox won’t launch)
Open Windows Terminal (Admin) or PowerShell (Admin) then run these command lines:
get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
If the issue continues, a Windows repair install or testing with a new Windows user profile can help resolve deeper app registration issues.
