    Hi,

please reinstall the game. Run built-in msinfo32 tool and show its screenshot for PC model.

If this PC is brand made, reinstall graphic drivers from PC manufacturer's site.

To troubleshoot the crashing issue related to the application xdt.exe and the module mono-2.0-sgen.dll, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check for Updates: Ensure that both your operating system and the game (Heartopia) are fully updated. Sometimes, crashes can be resolved with the latest patches.
    2. Verify Game Files: If you are using Steam, verify the integrity of the game files. This can help fix any corrupted files that might be causing the crash.
    3. Check Event Viewer: You mentioned the Event Viewer messages. Look for the specific details in the Application log under Event ID 1000. This can give you more insights into the faulting application and module.
    4. Update Mono: Since the faulting module is mono-2.0-sgen.dll, ensure that you have the latest version of Mono installed. If the game uses a specific version, check if there are updates or patches available from the game developers.
    5. Run as Administrator: Try running the game as an administrator. Right-click on the game executable and select "Run as administrator" to see if it resolves any permission-related issues.
    6. Disable Antivirus: Sometimes, antivirus software can interfere with game files. Temporarily disable your antivirus and see if the game runs without crashing.
    7. Check for Conflicting Software: Ensure that no other software is conflicting with the game. This includes overlays from applications like Discord or other game launchers.
    8. Collect Crash Dumps: If the issue persists, consider collecting crash dumps for further analysis. You can set up Windows Error Reporting (WER) to collect dumps for the xdt.exe process, which can help in diagnosing the problem further.

By following these steps, you should be able to identify and potentially resolve the crashing issue with your game.
