Monitor: Samsung G91SD
GPU: RTX 4070ti

Windows 11 shows a gray order around the edges of my screen and depending on where the OS sits, it will either be in one of the corners or around the entire monitor.

I have tried:

  • Updating/reinstalling graphic drivers
  • Changing cables from HDMI to DP
  • Adjusting display size/ratio/scaling via Windows 11 and nVidia control panel

Not sure what else I can do, and I'm fairly certain this was not an issue before.

I tried to check the specifications for your monitor, is it a Samsung 49-inch Dual QHD monitor?

If so, the native resolution of that monitor is 5120 x 1440, right click your Desktop and select Display Settings, what resolution is set for your monitor in that section?

In the meantime, on the bottom edge of the monitor should be a menu button, press that, the on the on-screen controls, you should find an aspect ratio setting or Autofit setting, try using them to get the image on the monitor to fill the full screen.
