    Open the Settings Ap.

Go to the Activation settings window.

CLick the Troubleshoot button, then select 'I changed my hardware', then select the previously activated device (VM) in the list, that process should move the Windowsl icence to the new installation.

If that process is not successful, try using the process provided on this link to reactivate your Windows licence.

If you purchased Windows 11 from the Microsoft Store and did not receive a product key, it is likely that your license is linked to your Microsoft account instead of being tied to a physical key. To activate Windows 11 on your virtual machine, ensure that you are signed in with the same Microsoft account that you used to purchase the license. If activation fails, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check your Microsoft Account: Log in to your Microsoft account and check if the Windows 11 license is listed under your order history.
    2. Use the Activation Troubleshooter: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation, and use the troubleshooter to help resolve activation issues.
    3. Contact Microsoft Support: If the above steps do not work, you may need to reach out to Microsoft Support for assistance in activating your Windows 11 license.

If you had previously activated Windows 11 on another device, ensure that the old device is removed from your account, as this can sometimes cause activation issues on a new installation.
