    Hi William Henry,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

I understand how frustrating it is when your Sony Bluetooth Headphones won't connect to the Firestick WH-1000XM4. That said, I need to clarify something so you can get the help you needed:

    • The Fire TV Stick is an Amazon product
    • The WH‑1000XM4 Bluetooth headphones is a Sony product
    • Bluetooth pairing behavior is controlled by Amazon’s Fire OS or Sony driver

As we here at Microsoft Q&A, where focuses exclusively on Microsoft products, our support cannot troubleshoot or fix this. To get actionable and suitable help for your issue, you’ll have better results reaching out to:

    1. Amazon Fire TV Support: They can confirm compatibility, firmware requirements, and known issues.
    2. Sony Support for WH‑1000XM4: Check the Sony documents pairing modes, device limits, and reset procedures specific to this headphone.

Sorry I can’t help further, but this is device behavior, not a Windows issue, and must be handled through Sony or Amazon guidance. I hope that their support will be the correct and fastest path to resolution.

To connect your Sony WH-1000XM4 Bluetooth headphones to your Fire TV Stick, follow these general troubleshooting steps:

    1. Ensure Headphones are in Pairing Mode: Make sure your headphones are turned on and in pairing mode. You can usually do this by pressing and holding the power button until you hear a voice prompt or see a blinking light indicating they are ready to pair.
    2. Check Fire TV Stick Settings: On your Fire TV Stick, navigate to Settings > Controllers & Bluetooth Devices > Other Bluetooth Devices. Here, you can add a new device.
    3. Pair the Device: Select Add Bluetooth Device and wait for your headphones to appear in the list. Select them to pair.
    4. Restart Devices: If the headphones do not appear, try restarting both your Fire TV Stick and your headphones.
    5. Update Software: Ensure that your Fire TV Stick is running the latest software version. Go to Settings > My Fire TV > About > Check for Updates.

If you continue to experience issues, consider checking the compatibility of your headphones with the Fire TV Stick, as some devices may have limitations.
