I am logged into OneDrive, and for the 1st time, a few weeks ago it allowed me to copy some into to it.

I then deleted it all and everything was fully sync'd.

My space is <0.1Gb used out of 100Gb, but if I try to create a file/folder Im told I have no space left.

I have tried everything unlinking and linking. I have tried on muliple devices, everytime I am told no space is left.

What is going on, has Microsoft stopped storage ?OneDrive - Not enough storage.jpg

    Hey there, Office

If I was you, once you get this sorted. Download all of your files onto the computer from the business OneDrive account. Then purchase a Microsoft 365 licence here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-365/buy/compare-all-microsoft-365-products

This way, you are in full control over your account, not someone else. You also get 1TB of storage for OneDrive and access Microsoft Security amongst other products.

You would need a @outlook.com account for the personal subscription to be tied to.

The problem with purchasing cheep subscriptions that someone else manages is that they can remove/delete the subscription at anytime. They can even reset your password and get access to your account and see what files are stored on the OneDrive account.

    Hope this helps,
    Nathan

    Hey there, Office

If you had a personal account, it would have one of the following domains: @outlook.com, @hotmail.co.uk, @hotmail.com, @live.com, or @msn.com (depending on how long you have had your Microsoft account for. New Microsoft accounts will have the @outlook.com domain.

When looking at the screenshot you provided in your previous comment, it showed a @365kit.co domain. This means that the 'personal' account you have is a work/school account, not a personal account. This means whoever set your account up owns your account and what licences you have attached to it.

Was the account provided to you, or did you set up the account when you first redeemed the product key?

    Thanks,
    Nathan

    Hey there, Office

When looking at your screenshot, it looks as though you are a business user as it tells you to contact your organisation admin about the storage.

If this is the case, please can you ask your admin to sign into the admin portal for accounts here: https://admin.cloud.microsoft/?#/users

They will need to click onto your user account

    User's image

This will bring up your profile information on the right-hand side of your screen. Please can the admin click onto 'Licences and apps'

    User's image

Please can you make sure the account has the right licences applied to the account. The account should have a Microsoft 365 Business subscription in order to be able to use OneDrive.

A common theme would be if someone has a Microsoft 365 developer subscription. This often chucks errors with syncing files to OneDrive as the subscription is only meant for testing and developing apps for Microsoft 365 apps and services.

    Hope this helps,
    Nathan
