Hello Duncan Idaho 11, welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
Fresh Paint uses its own proprietary sync system (not standard OneDrive file sync), which can be unreliable—especially since the app was discontinued now.
Before trying anything, export your artwork as a backup: Open Fresh Paint on your old PC (if still accessible) > Gallery > select each artwork > Share > Save as image.
Then try resetting Fresh Paint on your new PC:
- Make sure you're signed into OneDrive on your new PC and it's fully synced
- Reset Fresh Paint:
- Settings > Apps > Installed apps
- Find Fresh Paint > three dots > Advanced options
- Scroll down and click Reset
- Open Fresh Paint and sign in with the same Microsoft account
- Check app permissions:
- Settings > Privacy & security > App permissions
- Make sure Fresh Paint has access to Files and OneDrive
If sync still doesn't work, the sync mechanism may be broken (common with this deprecated app). Your only option would be to manually export artwork from the old PC as image files and import/recreate on the new PC—unfortunately Fresh Paint's database format doesn't support direct file copying.
