My Microsoft 365 Developer Program sandbox subscription has been suspended. I am a legitimate developer working on an Office Add-in (Excel add-in) for learning and development purposes. I have published my full code, development screenshots, and project details publicly on GitHub as proof:

Please review my case and restore my subscription so I can continue my development work. Thank you for your assistance.

    Hi 老Z MTH

Thank you for posting question to Microsoft Q&A Forum.

Firstly, please understand that this is a public peer‑to‑peer community, so while members can share advice and experiences only. We do not have the ability to escalate or review issues directly with the Developer team on your behalf.

You mentioned that your subscription is “suspended.” Do you mean that your Developer Program membership was not renewed? If so, based on my research, the Microsoft 365 E5 Developer subscription is intended to automatically renew every 90 days, provided that Microsoft identifies continued developer activity within your tenant.

However, eligibility and renewal for Microsoft 365 Developer Program tenants are fully automated, relying on algorithms and telemetry derived from your usage within the program and your Microsoft 365 E5 developer subscription. As a result, Developer Program eligibility cannot be reset manually.

If your subscription has expired and remained inactive, please note the following timeline as mentioned on Microsoft 365 Developer Program FAQ

First 30 days after expiration: You can migrate any data.

Next 30 days: Only the admin will have access to the subscription.

Day 60: The subscription and all associated data will be permanently deleted.

I highly recommend you backup your data immediately, you should download your important files to a local drive or migrate them to a different account before the due date.

If you believe you are actively using the environment for development work, but the tenant is still failing to renew automatically, you can try to contact Microsoft Developer Support through the Services Hub. Please note that access requires a paid support ticket and is subject to specific conditions. Before submitting a ticket, review the official guidance in the: Services Hub sign in FAQs | Microsoft Learn

I hope this clarifies your concerns.

If your Microsoft 365 Developer Program sandbox subscription has been suspended, you will need to reach out to Microsoft support for assistance with restoring it. The suspension may be due to a violation of the terms and conditions of the program. You can find support resources for the Microsoft 365 Developer Program through the official documentation or by contacting Visual Studio subscriptions support for help with accounts and subscriptions.
