microphone picking up computer audio

my microphone is picking up any sound that plays on my pc and anyone thats on a call with me can hear it

    • If you're using a laptop, please provide your laptop model.

    Hello,

    Not sure what you have already tried.. sorry if this might be a repeat.

    Hold down Windows + R keys, type in mmsys.cpl and press enter.

    Then go to the Recording tab. Do you see Stereo Mix listed? If so, right click, disable it.

    Try and see if that improves. If not, tell me - what type of mic are you using? Built-in mic? Or headset mic via 3mm port, or bluetooth?
