Planner "Assigned to Me" Tasks Stopped Syncing with To Do

Recently the tasks that I have in Planner that are Assigned to Me, which also includes Tasks I create in Loop, are no longer syncing with my Assigned to Me list in To Do.

I switched off the Assigned to Me and Planner options in the To do Settings, and then turned them back on, to see if that would help restart the sync, but it did not. I also forced the sync in the options, but that did not fix it either. Has anyone else been experiencing this? I'm trying to figure out if it's a Microsoft problem as a whole, or something specific to our organization's account.

It seems that you are experiencing issues with the synchronization of tasks from Planner to To Do, particularly with tasks assigned to you. Here are a few points to consider:

    1. Default Behavior: By default, Project for the web tasks with Planner and To Do synchronization is enabled for all tenants. If this synchronization is disabled at the tenant level, tasks won't sync as expected.
    2. Admin Controls: An administrator can enable or disable this synchronization through the Project settings page in the Microsoft 365 admin center. If the synchronization was recently turned off by an admin, it could affect your ability to see the tasks in To Do.
    3. Data Boundaries: If your organization requires data to exist in separate boundaries, this could also impact synchronization. Ensure that your organization's settings allow for the synchronization of tasks.
    4. Troubleshooting Steps: Since you've already tried toggling the settings in To Do and forcing a sync, it might be worth checking with your organization's admin to confirm that the synchronization is enabled at the tenant level. Additionally, ensure that Project for the web is enabled for your tenant, as tasks will not sync if it is disabled.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be beneficial to check if other users in your organization are experiencing similar problems, as it could indicate a broader issue with Microsoft services.
