    Hi Al Neely,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. I'm happy to help.

If your laptop has Realtek audio chipset, it might be possible.

Please make sure that you have installed Realtek Audio Driver from manufactural website.

Please install "Realtek Audio Console" if you have not already done so. This is the application to manage the Realtek audio chipset built into your motherboard. You can install it by going to your motherboard's website or through the Microsoft Store.

Disclaimer: Microsoft provides no assurances and/or warranties, implied or otherwise, and is not responsible for the information you receive from the third-party linked sites or any support related to technology.

Next, open Realtek Audio Console > Device advanced settings > check Make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously.

You may need to unplug then re-plug your external speakers after changing this setting.

Please check your audio again to see if the sound comes to internal speaker and external speaker at the same time.

Windows 11 does not have a simple built in “mirror audio to two outputs” feature. “Stereo Mix” loopback only works if the driver supports it.

I think the most reliable way is to use third party app like Voicemeeter..

To output sound to both your internal speaker and an external speaker simultaneously on a Windows 11 laptop, you can try the following steps:

    1. Set Up Stereo Mix: Since you mentioned that Stereo Mix is already enabled, ensure that it is set as the default recording device. To do this, right-click the sound icon in the taskbar, select "Sounds," go to the "Recording" tab, and set "Stereo Mix" as the default device.
    2. Configure Playback Devices: Right-click the sound icon again, select "Sounds," and go to the "Playback" tab. Here, ensure both your internal and external speakers are listed. You may need to enable the external speaker if it is not already active.
    3. Use Audio Management Software: If the built-in options do not allow simultaneous output, consider using third-party audio management software that can route audio to multiple outputs. Software like Voicemeeter can help manage audio outputs more flexibly.
    4. Check for Driver Updates: Although you mentioned that all updates are current, it’s always good to double-check for any specific audio driver updates from your laptop manufacturer that may enhance audio routing capabilities.

If you still face issues after trying these steps, it may be worth consulting your device manufacturer's support for further assistance.
