Fallout 1&2 crashing after jan 30 update

my copies of fallout 1 and 2 are crashing on startup and before my hardware is to blame it was working just fine before the Jan 30 update was force installed I just want to know how to fix but the dead giveaway is not on the end of Bethesda is because it was working before an certain update took place and they just stopped running after that

When the crashes happen, is it the games crashing or is Windows crashing and the PC restarts, and if so, is there a blue or black screen with an error indicated?

Open the Settings App, go to Windows Update - Update History, what is the KB number of the update that was installed that may be causing the crashes.
