I've purchased more data allowance but Outlook doesn't seem to recognise it

Outlook keeps telling me that I have used up my allowance despite getting the upgrade to family with five other users plus myself and 1Tb allowance for each of us. I've restarted several times with no result.

I then thought the issue may be that my account ID was an old email address, so I changed the email on my account only to find that I have now subscribed in both the old email address and the new one.

So, I now have two subscriptions - I only need one - and I still keep being told that I have no data allowance left when I open Outlook. That being despite the fact that when I open my account (both of them actually) they both say that I've used less than 0.3 Gb of a 1Tb allowance.

I need Outlook to stop telling me I have no more data allowance and I need to cancel the old email address account and get a refund.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. I'm happy to help.

I understand that you're having an issue with storage wherein Outlook keeps telling you that you have used up your data allowance even though you upgraded to Microsoft 365 Family with 1TB of storage and your account shows that you have barely used any space.

Sign out of all accounts in Outlook, then sign back in using only the Microsoft account that currently holds the active Microsoft 365 Family subscription.

    Steps below:

Open Outlook then go to File > Office Account (or Account Settings).

Sign out of all Microsoft accounts.

    Close Outlook completely.

Reopen Outlook and sign in only with the email that you want to retain.

Note: If you recently purchased additional space, please note that it may take 24 to 48 hours to update across all services.

To cancel the other susbcription and request a refund, please follow the steps in this link:

If the issue persists and you want further assistance, I recommend reaching out to Microsoft Support directly so they can look into it.

    Click this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/

Sign in to your Microsoft account.

Type "Chat with an agent" and press Enter.

Click "Contact support" at the bottom.

Select the product you need help with.

Follow the prompts to connect with a live agent.
