Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

If you are referring to the Pages section (vertical or horizontal page tabs) of your OneNote notebook, unfortunately, you cannot hide or remove them entirely.

You can delete a page, but you cannot hide the page tabs themselves.

However, if you switch the page tab view from horizontal to vertical, you can temporarily hide the page tabs by selecting the three horizontal lines ☰ in the top-left corner of the notebook.

If this is not what you are trying to achieve, please be more specific about the issue you are experiencing with OneNote.

To close an open section in OneNote, you can use the OpenHierarchy method to manage sections. If you want to close a section, you typically navigate away from it or select another section to open. OneNote does not have a direct "close" function for sections, but switching to another section effectively closes the current one.

If you want to delete a section, you can use the Remove-MgSiteOnenoteSection cmdlet from the Microsoft.Graph.Notes module to remove the section entirely. This cmdlet allows you to delete navigation property sections for sites.

For example, you can specify the section you want to delete by providing its unique identifier.
