Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello, good day and thanks for your question. To add to the above, if you have already installed and activated it you will need to request to unlink or reset it and in this scenario you can do that by going through the support team at https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/ and then click on Office and then click Get home support and then type in Transfer license and then click on the blue Sign in to contact support button and login with the account that you used to purchase Office and once done you can follow the below steps.
- Log in to this link https://account.microsoft.com/services.
- Check if you can see Office 2024 on the Subscriptions page, to confirm that it is linked to your Microsoft account.
- As Office 2024 can only be installed on one device at a time, if it is still installed or activated on the other device that you have returned then this will need to be uninstalled before transferring it to the new one.
- After that, you can download, install, and activate Office 2024 on your new device.
- There is also a possibility that the phone activation at the bottom of the installation screen might appear and if it is there then you may proceed from there as instructed.
