I'm trying to get my phone to connect to my computer, but microsoft won't allow me to connect my OWN phone that I bought with my money to my OWN computer that I bought with my money. Instead they feel the need for me to come up with some magic password that only they know. They think the password that works for EVERYTHING ELSE, isn't my password. Well, what is the password? I'm not a mind reader. Why do I need to go through all this just to put PHOTOS that I TOOK on MY computer. The over reach is something else.

    Dear @Danielle DiCristino,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Could you please open the Phone Link app again and re-scan the QR code using the camera option in the Link to Windows app? This is the quickest way to re-establish the connection. Phone Link requirements and setup - Microsoft Support

If your immediate goal is simply to copy photos between your phone and your PC, using a USB cable is often the fastest and most reliable option.

Also, could you please confirm whether you are using an Android phone or an iPhone (iOS)?
The information you provided will help me assist you more promptly and efficiently.
