    Dear Syed K. Younus

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum. I understand you are having problem with not receiving PlayStation Network recovery emails after you recovered your Hotmail/Outlook.com account from a hack. I am happy to assist you. Please follow these steps:

    • Confirm the mailbox is able to receive mail. Check your mailbox storage first. If cloud storage is full, you cannot send or receive email and messages sent during that time can bounce back to the sender. See: Can't send or receive email in Outlook.com - Microsoft Support
    • Check where the email is landing (Focused/Other + Junk). Check the Other tab (Focused Inbox) and the Junk Email folder when you cannot receive a specific email.
    • Make sure Sony is not blocked and explicitly allow it (Safe Senders). Add the sender address or domain used by PlayStation Network to Safe Senders in Outlook.com.
    • Review mailbox rules/forwarding that may have been added during the hack. After an account compromise, hidden rules or forwarding can silently move or delete mail. Validate there are no unexpected rules/forwarding configured in Outlook on the web.
    • If you still do not receive the mail, have the sender check delivery using Sender Support. If you are not receiving a specific email and there is no error message, contact the sender and ask them to refer to Sender Support in Outlook.com for more information.
