If there is a restriction indicated when you try to switch out of S Mode, is that your own personal computer or supplied to you by a company or education facility?

Please provide a screenshot of the restriction you see indicated.

    Open the Settings App.

    Go to Accounts.

Select Access Work or School, is there is a work or school Email listed there?

To switch out of S mode on your Windows 11 device, you can follow these steps:

    1. Open Settings: Click on the Start menu and select Settings.
    2. Go to System: In the Settings window, select the "System" option.
    3. Select Activation: Scroll down and click on "Activation" on the left sidebar.
    4. Switch out of S mode: Look for the option that says "Switch to Windows 11 Home" or "Switch out of S mode". If you see it, click on it and follow the prompts.

If the option to switch out of S mode is not visible in the Microsoft Store, it may be due to restrictions set on your device. You can check the following:

    • Ensure that your device is connected to the internet.
    • Check if there are any policies in place that prevent switching out of S mode, especially if your device is managed by an organization.

If you are still unable to switch out of S mode, you may need to contact Microsoft support for further assistance.
