I upgraded my phone recently and now I am unable to login to Microsoft/ Microsoft live. I can login here which is weird but nowhere else. Only because my authentication app is now not working, I deleted my Microsoft off of there thinking it would allow me to login but I was wrong. Also the website would not let me login using my password. It’s like there is a bug preventing other options. I need to be able to get logged in, is it possible to get back into my account to fix my authentication app? Options that have been posted previously to other questions did not work at all. I need a complete reset of my security options so I can use my password and Microsoft doesn’t have an email to reach out too.

    I think when the phone’s gone and the auth app’s wiped, the acct falls into a lock only the recovery page can break…

    I’d run the reset at https://aka.ms/recoveraccount in a clean inPriv and let it rebuild the MFA from zero and it’s the only path that’s pulled folks back for me.
