Hello, I have encountered a problem. I cannot log in into my main account ([mod: PII removed]@gmail.com). I'm writing this letter from my school account. And when I try to verify my email a random account pops up out of nowhere (ca***@caramelizmail.ru**.) it says that I have to verify it through the random email and I'm stuck.. So in that case I would be very thankful if somebody from your administration could look into this problem. And to prove that it's my account I'm still logged in the Microsoft store. If not mistaking my password was: <mod: Password removed>

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

Based on your description, your Microsoft account was indeed compromised. The hacker was able to remove the account's primary email address/security info and replace it with their own email address.

The only way to recover a hacked account is through the official Microsoft troubleshooter guide:

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/how-to-recover-a-hacked-or-compromised-microsoft-account-24ca907d-bcdf-a44b-4656-47f0cd89c245

If the account recovery web form doesn't work, and since the security info has been replaced by the hacker, I'm afraid there is no other working method to recover the Microsoft account, and Microsoft Support cannot help either.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Darhyl

It sounds like your account has been compromised, and you're facing issues with unauthorized access. Here are some steps you can take to regain control of your account:

    1. Try Account Recovery: Go to the Microsoft account recovery page and follow the prompts to recover your account. Use any recovery options available, such as alternate email addresses or phone numbers that you may have set up.
    2. Contact Microsoft Support: Since you are facing issues with the recovery process, it's advisable to contact Microsoft Support directly for assistance. They can help you with account recovery and may have additional tools to verify your identity.
    3. Check for Account Activity: If you regain access, check your account activity for any unauthorized changes or settings, such as forwarding rules or linked accounts that you did not set up.
    4. Secure Your Account: Once you regain access, immediately change your password to a strong, unique one. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) again, and ensure that your recovery options are up to date.
    5. Monitor for Further Issues: Keep an eye on your account for any suspicious activity and inform your contacts about the potential compromise to prevent them from falling victim to phishing attempts.

If you continue to face issues with the recovery process, it may take some time for Microsoft to resolve the service problems you mentioned. Be persistent in reaching out to their support team for help.
