Followed your advice on Farbar Recovery Scan Tool. Where do I post the ZIP file?

I ran the Farbar tool, scanned my PC and saved the FRST.txt and Addition.txt to a zip file named FRST.zip. Saved the file to my OneDrive account. Your article says to post them "there", but I do not see a means by which to do that. For your info, here is where I obtained your instructions:

I also have no idea what/which tags to apply to this message. Sorry. I'm inexperienced.

Please advise on next steps.

Kind Regards,

Bill MacDonald

    Hi Bill,

You can attach the file by clicking the attachment clip icon (paper clip icon) in your reply window.

It seems you are looking to share the ZIP file containing the FRST.txt and Addition.txt files after running the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool. Typically, when sharing such files for analysis, you would need to upload them to a platform where others can access them, such as a file-sharing service or a forum that allows file uploads.

Since you mentioned saving the file to your OneDrive account, you can share the link to the file from OneDrive. Make sure that the sharing settings allow others to access the file. You can usually do this by right-clicking the file in OneDrive, selecting "Share," and then choosing the appropriate sharing options to generate a link.

As for tagging your message, if you are posting in a forum or community, you might want to use tags related to the tool you used (e.g., "Farbar Recovery Scan Tool") or tags related to your issue (e.g., "Windows Issues", "Malware Removal"). If you are unsure, you can often leave the tags blank or ask for guidance in the community.

If you need further assistance, feel free to ask!
