20 year old Hotmail account got closed, and i want to access it.

Question

So long story short, I wanted to reset a password on a game account that's linked to my hotmail account, and i can't even access the account, and when i contacted microsoft they told me the account has been closed after "suspicious activity" which I wasn't even involved in, I tried everything, and now i want to try to make a new hotmail account with the same old address, since the account has been closed, maybe i can make a new one with the same address. Any ideas? anyone can help????

About creating a new account with the same address, unfortunately, that’s not possible. Once a Microsoft account (Hotmail/Outlook) is closed, the email address cannot be reused again. It’s permanently retired for security reasons.

If your Hotmail account has been closed due to suspicious activity and has not been accessed for that duration, it cannot be restored, and the email address cannot be reused to create another account. Therefore, you will not be able to create a new Hotmail account with the same old address.

If you need access to a game account linked to that email, you may need to contact the game's support team to explore alternative recovery options.
