Hello MOC Team,

we are from CBN-INTERNET AS135478

We found that geolocation provider on the internet listed 45.126.80.0/22 as London IP. They spoke that they use Microsoft database https://www.microsoft.com/en-sa/download/details.aspx?id=53601

Could you please update the Database to Indonesia so the geolocation provider can share the accurate information for the prefixesimage011.png

APNIC whois listed this prefixes as Indonesia Jakarta at their IP Database.

If MOC are not the one who responsible on this matter. Please refer us the contact of the corresponding team for this inquiry.

Please Advise.

Thankyou.

    Hello haryanto

It appears there is an issue with the geolocation data for the IP range 45.126.80.0/22, which is incorrectly listed as London instead of Indonesia.

    • Since APNIC shows this IP range as being in Jakarta, you may want to report this discrepancy to the team responsible for the geolocation database at Microsoft.
    • If you are experiencing discrepancies while using Azure Maps, please refer to this documentation for details on how geolocation lookups work and tips for troubleshooting. Ensure that you are not using an IP address associated with VPNs, as this can impact accuracy.
    • The IP file changes every month, so if the data is not properly updated, the geolocation provider needs to correct it. You may need to wait a few more days or contact your service provider for assistance with this issue.
    • MOC is not responsible for geolocation data of public IP ranges that are not owned by Microsoft. Microsoft only publishes IP ranges used by its own services. Third-party prefixes allocated by APNIC are not managed or geolocated by Microsoft. Updates to geolocation information for your public ASN range must be handled directly with the geolocation provider that is showing the incorrect location.

I hope the above answer helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions?

    Hi,

MOC is not responsible for geolocation data of public IP ranges that are not owned by Microsoft. Microsoft only publishes IP ranges used by Microsoft services. Third party prefixes allocated by APNIC are not managed or geolocated by Microsoft. There is no internal Microsoft team that can update geolocation information for your public ASN range. This must be handled directly with the geolocation data provider that is showing the incorrect country or city.

You should contact the specific provider that lists 45.126.80.0/22 as London and submit a correction request together with official APNIC whois records confirming the allocation in Indonesia. Most commercial geolocation vendors provide a data correction form on their website.

If you can confirm the exact geolocation provider name, you should raise the request with them directly, as they maintain their own independent database.

    hope that will help,

    rgds,

    Alex
