I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. I'm happy to help.

If I understand correctly, you created a personal email account with the domain @outlook.com and are using it for your work, correct?

If yes, have you already tried different verification method such as an alternate email address to verify your account?

If you received a message saying your account has been locked when signing in, it could be due to activity that may go against Microsoft's Terms of Use. This is typically a security measure to protect your information.

To regain access, please visit the support article below, click the "Sign in" button, and follow the steps provided. Be sure to review the tips included in the article, as they can help improve your chances of successfully recovering your account.

To regain access to your locked Outlook account, you can follow these steps:

    1. Wait for the Lockout Period: If your account is temporarily locked due to too many failed sign-in attempts, it may be necessary to wait for a certain period (usually about 24 hours) before trying again.
    2. Use the Account Recovery Form: Visit the official recovery form at https://account.live.com/acsr. Choose "I forgot my password" and follow the prompts. Make sure to enter your full phone number when asked for it.
    3. Check Your Recovery Options: If you have two-step verification enabled, ensure you have access to at least one of your security methods (like your phone, email, or authenticator app). If you encounter issues with receiving the verification code, try using a different device or network.
    4. Contact Microsoft Support: If the recovery options do not work, you can contact Microsoft Support for further assistance. Go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus and select "Microsoft account & billing" followed by "Password reset or account recovery". Depending on your region, you may have options for chat support or a callback.
    5. Provide Accurate Information: When filling out the recovery form, provide as much accurate information as possible, such as recent email subjects, folder names, and contacts you’ve emailed, to help verify your identity.

Please note that if you cannot access any recovery methods, you may need to wait for Microsoft to verify your identity through the recovery form submission.
