A Microsoft desktop and app virtualization service that runs on Azure. Previously known as Windows Virtual Desktop.
Hello Chakravorti, Nirjhar
Thank you for reaching out.
If you are signing in to Azure Virtual Desktop using your Microsoft Entra ID account, the issue is likely due to your password having expired. In this case, the password must be reset at the directory level before you can access AVD again.
If you have the required administrative access, you can reset the password by following these steps:
Sign in to the Microsoft Entra admin center with a role such as Password Administrator.
Go to Microsoft Entra ID → Users.
Locate and select the affected user account.
Click Reset Password.
Generate the temporary password and share it securely with the user.
The user will be prompted to change the password at the next sign-in.
If you do not have permission to perform these steps, please contact your organization’s IT Helpdesk or Administrator and request a password reset for your account.
If Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) is enabled in your environment, you may reset your password using the following page: https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com
