EMERGENCY - Sole Global Admin locked out of Microsoft 365 Developer tenant – lost MFA phone, no back up!

Dear Microsoft Support Team,

I am currently facing an emergency lockout from my Microsoft 365 Developer tenant where I am the sole Global Administrator.

Key facts:

• MFA was configured exclusively via Microsoft Authenticator on a now-replaced and reset mobile device.

• The original MFA device is gone and I have no backup codes, no secondary authentication methods, and no other admins.

• The tenant is still shown as active in the Microsoft 365 Developer Program portal under my personal Microsoft account (E5 subscription).

I am completely blocked from accessing the tenant admin center, making any changes, or continuing development work.

This is a time-critical issue that requires prompt escalation and administrative intervention (MFA reset or account recovery for sole Global Admin).

Please assist as quickly as possible or escalate this internally to the team that handles developer tenant lockout recovery.

    The issue pertains to a tenant lockout, where no other global admin in the tenant has the necessary permissions to login and make changes in your tenant.

    To resolve this, we have engaged our Data Protection team through a support ticket. They will reach out to you via email or phone to help restore access to the tenant and assist in resolving the issue.
