Regarding your issue, when you connect your phone to your PC using a USB cable, you should be able to find it through File Explorer. 

Here are a few steps you can try: 

1. Check File Explorer 

• Press the Windows Key + E on your keyboard to open File Explorer. 
• Look at the left-hand sidebar and click on This PC. 
• Your phone should appear under Devices and drives. It usually shows up with the name of the phone.

2. Check Your Phone's Screen  

By default, most phones plug in "Charge Only" mode for security. Windows won't show the files until you give the phone permission: 

• Android: Swipe down from the top of your phone screen to see your notifications. Look for a message that says, "USB charging this device." Tap it and change the setting to File Transfer or MTP. 
• iPhone: You should see a pop-up on the phone asking "Trust This Computer?" Tap Trust and enter your passcode

To find your phone after connecting it to your computer via USB, you can use File Explorer. Here are the steps:

5. Click on your phone's name to access its files.

If you are using a Windows 10 PC, you may also need to select the option to allow file transfer on your phone, depending on the device settings. If you don't see your phone, ensure that the connection mode is set to MTP (Media Transfer Protocol).
