I got a Minecraft Minecoins card for my kid, and the code is not being redeemed on Minecraft.net

I created an account for my child on Minecraft.net, and I went to the Redeem section from the left navigation, I entered the long code from the physical Minecraft Minecoins card (the code you scratch off the cover to reveal). And it seemed like it accepted it when I typed it in, but when I get back to the Account Page, the Minecoins counter on the left says zero. When I try to enter the code again the message "this has already been redeemed" shows. How do I get the coins attached to this Minecraft.net user?

It seems that you have successfully redeemed the Minecoins code, but they are not reflecting in your account due to a possible issue with the account synchronization or display. Here are a few steps you can take to resolve this:

    1. Check Account Details: Ensure that you are logged into the correct Minecraft account that you used to redeem the code. Sometimes, users may have multiple accounts and may inadvertently log into the wrong one.
    2. Wait for Synchronization: Occasionally, it may take some time for the Minecoins to appear in your account after redemption. Wait a few hours and then check again.
    3. Contact Support: If the Minecoins still do not appear after waiting, you may need to contact Minecraft support for assistance. Provide them with the details of the code and the issue you are facing.
    4. Check for Confirmation: Look for any confirmation email or message that may have been sent to you after redeeming the code, which can provide additional information about the transaction.

Following these steps should help you resolve the issue with the Minecoins not appearing in your account.
