    Hello

Can you go to Admin Center https://admin.microsoft.cm > Users > Active users. Then click on your user.

In the little card that slides out from the left, click on License and apps tab, and share a screenshot please?

    Hi @Dennis Dean

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I’ve reviewed the issue you’re experiencing with the message: “Your license doesn’t include access to Microsoft Teams. Ask your IT admin for access.”  This error appears when the Microsoft 365 account does not currently have a Teams‑enabled license assigned, or when the Teams service is disabled within your existing license. This issue has been reported in similar cases when a user’s license was changed or unintentionally removed.   To resolve this, you will need to verify your account and ensure that you are assigned a valid license that includes Microsoft Teams. Microsoft 365 plans that include Teams are listed within Microsoft’s official licensing documentation, such as Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Business Standard, Business Premium, Office 365 E1/E3, and Microsoft 365 E3/E5.   Because your account is managed by your organization, only your IT administrator has the ability and authority to adjust these settings.

Please contact your organization’s IT department or system administrator and let them know about the situation. They’ll be able to:

    • Review your Microsoft 365 license assignment
    • Enable or update the necessary permissions for Microsoft Teams
    • Verify that your account is correctly configured across all devices
    • Restore access so you can sign in on both the mobile app and the desktop app

If your IT team requires further assistance, they can contact Microsoft Support directly through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

Thank you again for your time and for raising this important usability concern. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

    Warm regards,

It seems that you are encountering a sign-in error indicating that your license does not include access to Microsoft Teams. This typically means that your account is not assigned the necessary Teams license. To resolve this issue, you should contact your IT administrator to ensure that a Teams Rooms Pro or Teams Rooms Basic license is assigned to your account. Additionally, they should verify that the Microsoft Teams app is applied based on the license assigned to you.

If your admin view shows that all permissions are turned off for your account, it’s crucial for your IT admin to review and adjust your account settings accordingly.
