Ads may be shown in the new Outlook and in Outlook on the web when the account you are using with your subscription is from a third-party provider, such as @gmail.com. To work around this, try creating an @outlook.com alias for your account.

To resolve the issue of seeing ads in Microsoft Office 365 after purchasing a subscription, you should ensure that you are properly signed in with the correct account associated with your subscription. Here are some steps you can follow:

    1. Verify Subscription: Make sure that the Microsoft Office 365 subscription is active and linked to the Outlook account you are using. You can check your subscription status by logging into your Microsoft account on the official Microsoft website.
    2. Sign In with Correct Account: Ensure you are signed into the Office applications with the same account that has the subscription. Sometimes, users may be logged into a different account that does not have the subscription, which can lead to ads being displayed.
    3. Clear Cache and Cookies: If you are using Office on the web, clearing your browser's cache and cookies can help resolve issues related to account recognition.
    4. Reinstall Office: If the problem persists, consider reinstalling the Office applications to ensure they are correctly linked to your subscription.
    5. Contact Support: If none of the above steps work, reaching out to Microsoft Support may provide further assistance in resolving the issue.

By following these steps, you should be able to eliminate the ads and fully utilize your Office 365 subscription without interruptions.
