    Hi Dennis, John E

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum and sharing your experience.

Based on your description and the notification shown, Outlook is likely blocking the message content for security reasons. This usually happens when the sender is not recognized as safe.

If you see an Infobar at the top of the message stating “Some content in this message has been blocked because the sender isn’t in your Safe Senders list”, select Trust sender or Show blocked content to allow the message to display normally.

If the email was moved to your Junk Email folder, you can help Outlook recognize the sender as legitimate:

Since this thread is tagged "For business", your organization may have additional security policies in place. If clicking Trust sender has no effect, or if the message was blocked before reaching your mailbox, please contact your IT administrator. They can review the message in Microsoft Defender Quarantine, release it if appropriate, and decide whether the sender’s domain should be added to the organization’s allow list.

Please let me know how things go on your side as your update can also assist others in the community who may be facing the same issue.

To remove a spam filter for a specific message and email address in Microsoft Outlook, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check the Spam Folder: First, go to your Spam or Junk Email folder and locate the email that was marked as spam.
    2. Mark as Not Junk: Right-click on the email and select "Mark as Not Junk" or "Not Spam". This action will help train the spam filter to recognize future emails from this sender as legitimate.
    3. Add to Safe Senders List: You can also add the sender's email address to your Safe Senders list. To do this:
      • Go to the "Home" tab in Outlook.
      • Click on "Junk" and then select "Junk E-mail Options".
      • In the Junk E-mail Options dialog, go to the "Safe Senders" tab.
      • Click "Add" and enter the email address or domain you want to whitelist.
      • Click "OK" to save the changes.
    4. Check Mail Flow Rules: If you have any mail flow rules set up that might be affecting the delivery of emails from this sender, review and adjust them accordingly.

By following these steps, you should be able to read the email and prevent future messages from being marked as spam.
