    Hi, I'm John!

Since your account was compromised/hack, it’s possible the attacker deleted or moved your old emails.

Please check your Deleted Items folder and click “Recover items deleted from this folder” at the bottom, sometimes older messages can still be restored from there. Also check your Archive or Junk Email folders. "Recover and restore deleted items in Outlook" https://support.microsoft.com/office/recover-and-restore-deleted-items-in-outlook-49e81f3c-c8f4-4426-a0b9-c0fd751d48ce

If the emails don’t appear under “Recover items deleted from this folder,” it means they’ve been permanently removed from the mailbox and unfortunately can’t be recovered.

To prevent this from happening again, I recommend turning on two-step verification and reviewing your recent activity page to make sure your account is fully secure. "How to help keep your Microsoft account secure" https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/how-to-help-keep-your-microsoft-account-secure-628538c2-7006-33bb-5ef4-c917657362b9

Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

If you are unable to access your inbox after being hacked, it is important to take immediate steps to secure your account. Here are some actions you can take:

    1. Change Your Password: Make sure to change your password to something strong and unique. This will help prevent further unauthorized access.
    2. Check for Suspicious Rules: Sign in to your Outlook account and check for any suspicious rules that may have been created by the hacker. Go to Settings → Mail → Rules and delete any that you do not recognize.
    3. Sign Out Everywhere: Use the "Sign out everywhere" option in your Microsoft account security settings to log out of all active sessions. This will help to terminate any unauthorized access.
    4. Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): If you haven't already, enable MFA for an additional layer of security.
    5. Contact Microsoft Support: If you still cannot access your inbox, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance. They can help you regain access to your account and investigate any issues.
    6. Monitor for Suspicious Activity: Keep an eye on your account for any further suspicious activity and report it to Microsoft if necessary.

Taking these steps can help you regain control of your account and secure it against future attacks.
