    Hi ,

If it is a laptop or desktop, if possible, could you provide the laptop model or your desktop configuration?

Open the command prompt (admin) and run the commands: sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, wait for the process to finish and restart the computer.

Then perform a clean boot and if you want to uninstall applications that you do not use.

    Thanks

Sudden drops in FPS while gaming can be caused by several factors, including CPU throttling, thermal issues, or background processes consuming resources. Here are some steps you can take to address the issue:

    1. Check for Thermal Throttling: Ensure that your laptop is not overheating. Clean the vents and fans, and consider using a cooling pad to improve airflow.
    2. Update Drivers: Make sure your graphics drivers and chipset drivers are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can lead to performance issues.
    3. Adjust Power Settings: Set your laptop's power plan to "High Performance" in the Windows settings. This can prevent the CPU from throttling down during gameplay.
    4. Monitor Background Processes: Use Task Manager to identify any background applications that may be consuming CPU resources. Close unnecessary applications while gaming.
    5. Game Settings: Lower the graphics settings in your games to see if that stabilizes the FPS.
    6. Check for Malware: Run a malware scan to ensure that no malicious software is affecting your system's performance.

If the problem persists, consider checking for hardware issues or consulting with a professional for further diagnostics.
