    Refer to the attached screen capture. Note that the rectangle with the Type question here only covers about 30% of the main slide when Show/Hide Question is clicked. It should cover the entire slide.Screen Capture.jpg

    Hi! To fix a “show/hide question box” animation that plays but doesn’t properly cover, first correct the layer (z-order) and simplify the objects. In PowerPoint, overlapping is controlled by Bring to Front / Send to Back and you can manage the exact stacking order in the Selection Pane. Move your big overlay rectangle (and the question box) to the top so it’s truly in front of everything. If your overlay is built from multiple shapes, group them so they animate together as one unit (this avoids the “only part of the overlay moves/appears” behavior).
